Donna Leigh Dyer, R.N.
In my long career I have worked in many places and in many roles. From the Intensive Care Unit in Vancouver to fly in communities in the North. I found my home in Palliative care 20 years ago.
This is loving and meaningful work.
In 1990 I graduated from Emily Carr University in Vancouver majoring in fine art and animation. Artistic education is a somewhat surprising complement to nursing. Creativity and courage are needed in supporting families and their loved ones at the end of life.
